Friday 10 January, Netflix
The 2023 film Bank of Dave melted our hearts with its inspirational story about a businessman who came to the aid of his cash-strapped community - and now, we're heading back to Lancashire for the heart-warming sequel, Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger.
Rory Kinnear reprises his starring role as Dave Fishwick, a real-life local hero who started up a savings-andloans company to lend money to Burnley residents who couldn't get credit following the 2008 financial crash. This time, in the follow-up to the original Netflix movie, Dave takes on the UK's payday lenders, who loan people money before trapping them in debt with eyewatering interest rates.
