NEW TRAVELOGUE
Sue Perkins: Lost in Alaska Friday, 9pm, Channel 5
Buckle up for a wild ride as Sue Perkins brings her unique brand of deadpan comedy to her latest three-episode travelogue, Sue Perkins: Lost in Alaska, which sees the comedian learn what it takes to survive in the USA's biggest and coldest state.
It turns out to be one of her most challenging adventures yet, as she faces grizzly bears, extreme weather and a nail-biting plane ride that leaves her on the edge of tears.
'I cry all the time in this series, admits Perkins, 54, 'Most of the time, mercifully for the viewer, it's edited out. Alaska is an extraordinary place, but it takes a kind of ruggedness and singlemindedness to live there, which I don't have!
Here, Perkins gives TV & Satellite Week a rundown of the series...
