Rebel Moon
Available: Friday 22 December
Genre: Sci-fi
If an extravagant new space saga – complete with scrappy insurgents, ancient robots and an (inter)stellar cast including Sir Anthony Hopkins and Charlie Hunnam – is on your Christmas wish list, then look no further, as Rebel Moon lands on Netflix this week.
Created by Man of Steel director Zack Snyder, the epic sci-fi adventure is split into two films, with Part One: A Child of Fire released on 22 December ahead of Part Two: The Scargiver in April 2024.
The story follows former soldier Kora (Star Trek Beyond’s Sofia Boutella), who’s made a new life for herself in a peaceful farming colony on the moon of Veldt after leaving the Imperium, the army of the Motherworld, a corrupt intergalactic empire.
