Working from a short story by Joe Hill, director Scott Derrickson reunites with horror kings Blumhouse and his Sinister star Ethan Hawke for this creepy ride. The year is 1978, and a series of children have gone missing in a quiet North Denver suburb. Soon to be next is Finney (Mason Thames), a young schoolboy who is a target for bullies and hasn’t yet learnt to stand up for himself.
Fighting in his corner are his sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) and a kid from his school named Robin (Miguel Cazarez Mora), who knows how to scrap and loves The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
