A former Minister of Commerce and Industry, he served in various ministries during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government from 1998 to 2008. I recently had the privilege of speaking with Mr. Prabhu to gain insights into the upcoming Amazing Goa 2024 event, set to take place in November. Here are some highlights from our conversation.
The Vibrant Goa Foundation was established in 2019, launching its inaugural Mega Event, the Vibrant Goa Global Expo and Summit 2019, which marked a significant success.
Although Mr. Prabhu was not involved in that initial event, he was later invited to assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Advisors. "I wasn't part of the earlier event," Mr. Prabhu shared, noting that the board of the Vibrant Goa Foundation reached out to him to join their Advisory Board. "While I may have participated in similar events during my tenure as Minister of Commerce and Industry, I can't recall specifics, as I attend many such gatherings across the country. However, this time, I was invited to take part, and I gladly accepted, as I have a deep affection for Goa and a fascination for this beautiful place," he expressed.
