KPCL told to conduct Kannada language test again
NOTING that the Karnataka Power Corporation Limited's (KPCL) unilateral action to prescribe minimum qualifying marks after conducting the test constitutes a substantive alteration of eligibility criterion, the Karnataka High Court directed KPCL to conduct a reexamination of the Kannada language test for the selection of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) and Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) under Hyderabad Karnataka quota and Non-Hyderabad Karnataka quota, notifying maximum and minimum qualifying marks before conducting the test as per norms.
