A PERVERT teacher is working at a petrol station as he awaits sentence for sexually assaulting a pupil on school grounds.
Shamed Asif Rafiq, 48, was suspended from his job at a school in Ayr after groping the girl in February last year.
Ayr Sheriff Court heard he placed his arms around her, put his hands on her buttocks, squeezed her buttocks and kissed her on the face on "various occasions".
The Record can reveal Rafiq, a technological studies teacher and football coach, is working at a petrol station in Mauchline Road, Auchinleck, Ayrshire.
Pictures taken at the garage last week show him surrounded by crates of juice and sweets.
A local, who asked not to be named, said: "It's shocking this teacher has abused his power of the trust put in him and it's worrying to think that he could be serving kids at this garage.
