आज हम देखते हैं कि धर्म-विरोधी तत्त्वों द्वारा साजिश के तहत हमारे निर्दोष हिन्दू साधु-संतों की छवि धूमिल करके उनको फँसाया जा रहा है, उन्हें कारागार में रखा जा रहा है। ऐसी ही एक घटना का उल्लेख स्वामी अखंडानंदजी के सत्संग में आता है, जिसमें एक संत की रिहाई के लिए एक अन्य संत के कष्ट सहन की पावन गाथा प्रेरणा-दीप बनकर उभर आती है :
