Paul and Ann have reconfigured the ground floor of their home to reflect their growing family’s lifestyle, centered round a stylish, bespoke new open plan kitchen

Paul and Ann bought their Kilkenny home ten years ago before they had their three children – Leah (6), Faye (4) and Tom (18 months) – so now, as a family of five, their needs have changed somewhat. ‘As our three children arrived, we felt the space wasn’t being maximized downstairs but we felt that, with the correct design, we would be able to remodel this area without extending into what is a small back garden. Our contractor Jimmy Lynch was a great help in working through the technical difficulties that the project threw up,’ says Paul.
