RUN Singapore
|December 2019/January 2020
Jen Macapagal age 32 occupation programme manager at Alpha Development
-
Jen Macapagal moved to Singapore from her native Philippines in 2009, and by her own admission was not a pretty sight back then. She did no exercise, and in an effort to dispel work-related stress took to all kinds of unhealthy vices. By chance, she tried her hand at dragon boating as a way to build new connections and as a healthy hobby during her weekends, and before the end of her first year living in Singapore, she knew that she had found an activity that was worth doing.
