The General Elections of India, 2024 were nothing short of cinema. The election advertisements, campaigns, novel manifestos, trolling each other, the twists and turns in the results etc. are all the contributing factors to the absolute thrill of the 2024 General Elections of India.
General Elections were held from 19 April to 1 June of 2024, in seven phases, to elect all 543 members of the Lok Sabha. More than 968 million people out of a population of 1.4 billion people were eligible to vote, equivalent to 70 percent of the total population. 642 million voters participated in the election and 312 million of them were women, making it the highest-ever participation by women voters.
This was the largest-ever election, surpassing the previous election, and lasted 44 days, second only to the 1951-52 Indian general election. The legislative assembly elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim were held simultaneously with the general election, along with the by-elections for 25 constituencies in 12 legislative assemblies.
With a population of over 1.4 billion people and close to 970 million voters, India's general election pitted Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA alliance against a broad alliance of opposition parties, I.N.D.I.A (India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) that were struggling to play catch up.
A total of 37 parties came together to from the NDA banner. They are:

5. Janata Dal (Secular)
6. Janata Dal (United)
7. Lok Janshakti Party

10. Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal
11. All Jharkhand Students Union
12. Asom Gana Parishad
13. United People's Party Liberal
14. Apna Dal (Soneylal)
15. NISHAD Party
