Where Are They Now?
A graduate of our Academy, Stephen Kelly went on to make almost halfa-century of appearances for us before going on to help today’s opponents Fulham to the Europa League Final in 2010. We recently caught up with the former Republic of Ireland international to discuss his time at the club, his journey since and find out what he’s up to now.
JOSE MOURINHO
On the pitch, we have started the year well and I have been pleased with the determination and application that my players have shown. Not only have we recorded three important victories against Leeds United, Brentford and Marine, those results have seen us continue to progress in each competition, including reaching the final of the Carabao Cup.

Tonight will be our seventh League Cup match with Brentford and it’s ironic that this semi-final will be a one-off game for the first time in the competition’s history, as we have only ever met in two-legged ties before now! Let’s take a look back at our previous meetings…

The League Cup and BEN DAVIES have a storied history. It is a competition he has often done well in, especially in 2013 when he lifted the trophy with Swansea City and, as we head into this evening’s semi-final, he is beginning to dream of that winning feeling once again.
