SUSPENDED Labour MP Mike Amesbury has been charged with assault following a street clash.
Cheshire Police confirmed he has been summonsed to appear in court following the incident last month.
Mr Amesbury, 55, who represents Runcorn and Helsby, is accused of assaulting a 45-year-old man in Frodsham at 3am on October 26.
