वैमानिक-शास्त्र में चार प्रकार के विमानों का वर्णन है। ये काल के आधार पर विभाजित हैं। इन्हें तीन श्रेणियों में रखा गया है। इसमें श्मंत्रिका' श्रेणी में वे विमान आते हैं, जो सतयुग और त्रेतायुग में मंत्र एवं सिद्धियों से संचालित व नियंत्रित होते थे। दूसरी श्रेणी श्तांत्रिका' है, जिसमें तंत्र शक्ति से उड़ने वाले विमानों का ब्यौरा है। इसमें तीसरी श्रेणी में कलयुग में उड़ने वाले विमानों का ब्यौरा भी है, जो इंजन (यंत्र) की ताकत से उड़ान भरते यानी भारद्वाज ऋषि ने भविष्य की उड़ान प्रौद्योगिकी क्या होगी, इसका अनुमान भी अपनी दूरदृष्टि से लगा लिया था। इन्हें कृतक विमान कहा गया है। कुल २५ प्रकार के विमानों का इसमें वर्णन है।

உயிர்களின் உடலில் மூவகையான அக்னிகளும் உள்ளன. சிவாச்சாரியார், சிவபூசையில் வளர்க்கப்படும் யாகத்தீயுடன் இந்த மூன்று அக்னி தன்னுடலில் இருந்து எழுந்து கலப்பதாகப் பாவனை செய்து அதற்கான மந்திரங்களை ஓதுவதைக் காணலாம். இது பூதாக்கினி, பிந்துவாக்கினி, ஜடராக்கினி எனப்படும்.

துளசிதேவியை வழிபட்ட ராதாதேவி

பாண்டீரவனம் என்ற பெயர் கொண்ட அற்புத வனம் அது. தேவலோகமே பூமிக்கு வந்து விட்டதோ என்று மலைக்கச் செய்யும் எழில் கொஞ்சும் வனம்.மாலதி, மல்லிகை முல்லை, ஜாதி, இருவாச்சி, செண்பகம் என்று மலர்கள் பூத்துக் குலுங்கும் செடி கொடிகள். நறுமணம் கமழும் அந்த வனம் கண்ணுக்கும் கருத்துக்கும் இதம் தந்தது என்பதில் எள்ளளவும் ஐயமில்லை. போதாக்குறைக்கு யமுனா நதியின் குளிர்ந்த இதமான வாடைக் காற்று. அப்பப்பா! சொல்லிக்கொண்டே போகலாம்....

திருமூலர் கூறும் அக்னி வழிபாடு

தமிழ் வேதமான பன்னிரு திருமுறைகளில் ஒன்றான திருமந்திரத்தில் திருமூலர் அக்னி வடிவமாக விளங் கும் சிவபெருமானின் வழிபாட்டையும் அதனால் பெறப்படும் பயனையும் விரிவாகக் கூறுகின்றார்.

ஞானத் தபோதனரை வா என்றழைக்கும் மலையை வலம் வர கௌதமர், பார்வதி தேவி உள்ளிட்ட ரிஷிகளும், முனிவர்களும், வேதியர்களும் தயாராயினர். மெல்ல கண்கள் மூடி கைகளிரண்டையும் உயர்த்தி வணங்கினர். கிரி வடிவிலுள்ள ஈசனை வலம் வரத் தயாராயினர்.

சிவபெருமான் மகா அக்னியின் வடிவமாக விளங்குகின்றார். விண்ணிற்கும், பாதாளத்திலும் பரந்து நிற்கும் பெரிய நெருப்புத் தூணாகச் சிவபெருமான் நின்றதைப் பல்வேறு புராணங்கள் சிறப்புடன் கூறுகின்றன. திருவண்ணாமலைத் தலபுராணம் இதனைத் தனிச்சிறப்புடன் குறிக்கின்றது.

தீபமே பிரம்மம்!

உலகம் ஒளிமயமாக உள்ளது. ஒளியைவிட வேறு தெய்வம் என்ன இருக்கிறது? அதனால்தான் தேவ' என்ற சொல்லுக்கு பிரகாச சொரூபம்' என்று பொருள் கூறுகின்றன சாத்திரங்கள் வெளிச்சம் சக்தியமாகவும் வழிபடும் சம்பிரதாயத்தை நம் ரிஷிகள் வேத காலம் முதல் அனுசரித்து வந்துள்ளனர்.

அக்னி சோமாத்மகம்

அக்னியிலிருந்து அமுதம் தோன்றுகின்றது என்றும் அதுவே உலகினை வளர்க்கின்றது என்றும் சிவபுராணம் கூறுகின்றது. சிவபுராணத்தில் 'அக்னி சோமாத்மகம்" என்ற தலைப்பில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. "அக்னி சோமாத்மகம்'' என்றால் அக்னியானது சோம மயமான அமிர்தத்தின் ஆத்மாவில் உள்ளது என்றும், அமிர்தமும் அக்னியும் உயிர்களின் ஆத்மாவின் உள்ளே இருக்கின்றது என்பதும் ஆகிய இரண்டு விதமான பொருள் உள்ளது.
