Cops Had Contact With Tragic Gracie

Murdered model Gracie Spinks, who was killed by a stalker, had been in contact with the police earlier this year.

Derbyshire Police yesterday revealed that the 23-year-old had contact with officers. No further details were given but the force has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

Gracie was attacked by obsessed former colleague Michael Sellers while looking after her horse, Paddy.

She was found gravely injured last Friday at 8.40 am in paddocks near Duckmanton. Paramedics were unable to save her.

Sellers, 35, was found dead at 11 am, in a field less than a mile away.

The two are believed to have met when they worked at an e-commerce company in Chesterfield. Sellers, who lived with his parents in Sheffield, was described by ex-colleagues as a “weirdo” who had been sacked from his job.
