OLYMPIAN Sally Gunnell has cleared her menopause hurdle and is now helping other women to beat the daunting health challenge.
Barcelona 1992 Games gold medallist Sally, 58, was the first 400-metre woman hurdler to simultaneously hold Commonwealth, European, world and Olympic track titles.
But eight years ago, the mum-ofthree, who is married to ex-athlete and coach Jonathan Bigg, had panic attacks and rashes, which she later realised was the start of the menopause.
Now she is showing how diet and exercise can ease the 48 different symptoms and coaching women to not just be the best they can, but better.
She is also working with brand menopause partner GenM to widen the use of its MTick logo, now used by more than 100 household products.
Sally, of Brighton, revealed when she was 15, her mum Rosemary, now 92, briefly suffered mental health issues which she kı ㅏ thinks was linked to the Yo change of life and Sally later feared she too was on manifesting it.
