NEWSREADER Clive Myrie swaps autocues for ballet shoes as part of his new TV series.
The 59-year-old explores his ancestral home in the Caribbean for the new BBC travelogue.
He takes viewers on a journey to Cuba, Jamaica, Barbados and the Dominican Republic - and steps out of his comfort zone as he goes.
The News at Ten presenter said: "I&nbsp;was with a bunch of young ballet dancers in Cuba and they said, 'Do you want to try?'
"So I did! I put on ballet tights and did some moves, it was fun.
"It harks back to Fidel Castro's idea&nbsp;that culture wasn't just for the elite, it was for everybody."
Clive's parents were from Jamaica and moved to Britain&nbsp;in the early 1960s as part of the Windrush generation.
Asked about his memories of going to Jamaica as a child, Clive admitted: "Having grown up in Lancashire, I couldn't take the heat. It was later, as a teenager, I fell in love with the Caribbean."
Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure starts on BBC2 and iPlayer next Monday at 6.30pm.
