FULLSIZE BRONCO SAS
I’ve been looking into solid axle swapping my fullsize ’92 Bronco for a while now. The TTB frontend is wearing out my tires in weird pattens and they aren’t lasting very long.
How do you trailside camp?
Fact: For most of us, camping and wheeling go together. It’s a safe bet that where there’s folks gathered to wheel for more than a day there’s probably camping involved.

If your garage could talk, what story could it tell?
I found a photo of my garage from several years ago and posted it on my @christianhazelofficial Instagram page with the question, “If your garage could talk, would it have much to say?” For gearheads, the garage is hands down the most important room in the house and the activity center for waking hours.

CUSTOM LINK SUSPENSION SCIENCE
Q I’m working on building a custom three-link front suspension for my very custom ’48 Willys CJ-2A. The tub is stretched and it’s on a custom frame. I mainly use it for trail riding and rock crawling, but I do drive it to and from the trails so road manners are important. The tires are 39s but I may go bigger. My axles are Dana 60s and I will be using 12-inch-travel shocks. Are there any hard and fast rules to follow when considering link suspension geometry? I’ve done a ton of reading on the subject, but it’s honestly all a little overwhelming.

Looking Back at Two Winches and Bumpers for the AMC Eagle
At first glance, the ’80 AMC Eagle might’ve just been a passenger car, maybe resembling the Concord DL. Looking at it once more, your eyes could have focused on the ride height and how the vehicle sat just a bit higher off the ground than passenger cars of the day.
How I almost lost my dream job as soon as I landed it
Campfire stories are usually entertaining. Put a bunch of friends sitting on cheap, $5 folding chairs around a crackling, open-air blaze under the star-speckled anonymity of night, lulled vulnerable by the radiant heat of burning wood, and embarrassing anecdotes begin to flow.
