India pig iron production down 37% y-o-y in March
India’s March pig iron production stood at 359,000 tons, down 37 percent year on year and down 15.20 percent month on month, provisional steel ministry data showed. In the April-March period of 2019-20, pig iron production stood at 5.507 million tons down by 14.10as against 6.414 million tons produced in AprilMarch 2018-09, steel ministry data showed.
