त्रार्थ - विवेक ज्ञान से सम्पन्न योगी के लिये (विषय सुख सू के भोग काल में भी) सभी दुःख रूप है क्योंकि उनमें परिवर्तन दुःख, ताप दुःख और संस्कार दुःख बना रहता है और तीनों गुणों (सत्व-रजस-तमस) के स्वभाव में भी निरन्तर विरोध होता रहता है।
